Coronavirus Updates

Further to information from Doncaster Council school will not reopen in January to all pupils. 

School will be open to children of key-workers and vulnerable children.  ALL parents will receive a weekly link to a form to enable you to request a place for the following week.

If you are allocated a place, please follow all site safety rules, including arrival in designated times only, one adult per family, pass on messages by email or phone,  wear a face covering unless exempt and maintain social distancing.

Coronavirus Information Service

The Government have on Wednesday 25th March launched a Coronavirus Information Service on WhatsApp.

This is a free, automated 'chatbot' service which will allow you to get answers to the most common questions directly from the Government.

To use the service:
- Download the WhatsApp app
- Add 07860 064422 in your phone contacts
- Send the word ‘hi’ in a WhatsApp message to get started.

The service will provide information on coronavirus prevention and symptoms, the latest number of cases in the UK, advice on staying at home, travel advice and myth busting.

The government will also send messages to all opted-in users if required.

School Closure Information

During this time we would like to signpost you towards the information provided by the Department of Education. 

From Friday 20 March schools, childcare and other educational settings are closed for everyone except:

children of critical workers
vulnerable children

If parents’ work is critical to the coronavirus response, their children will be prioritised for early years and education provision.

Signs and Symptoms

If you, or someone in your household are experiencing these symptoms:

  • A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
