Anti-Bullying

Here at Sheep Dip Lane we take bullying seriously. We have lots of approaches in place to ensure bullying doesn’t happen.

Stamp it out at Sheep Dip!

Our school celebrates Anti-Bullying week each year, we focus on the yearly theme and have a range of fun activities across the week.

Anti-Bullying Week 2024 takes place from Monday 11th - Friday 15th November and the theme is 'Choose Respect'

We will be taking part in 'odd Sock day' - Watch this space!

The theme of Choose Respect has come about following consultation with teachers and pupils by the Anti-Bullying Alliance which coordinates Anti-Bullying Week every year in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Teachers and children wanted a theme that empowered them to do something positive to counter the harm and hurt that bullying causes.

This Academic year's Anti-Bullying week 2023 was from from Monday 13th to Friday 17th November with the theme of 'Make a Noise about Bullying'.

"Kindness is more important today than it has ever been and little acts of kindness and consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us" - Anti-Bullying Alliance.

We will be celebrating the week to include our 'Odd Socks Day' on Wednesday 15th November - 'We are Unique' an easy fun way for all children and staff to join in!
