English

Reading is one of the greatest skills in life we can give our children, and there is nothing better than choosing a book and 'Reading for Pleasure'

We have books that we would recommend for each age range but children can choose from other groups to match ability or interests.  Please see the documents below for more information and to see the books we are using as core reading, fiction and reading for pleasure.

We have Reading Ambassadors in school to give 'Pupil Voice' see below for ideas and outcomes from their recent meeting:

All Academy teaching & support staff have undertaken acredited training for Little Wandle and are embedding this DfE approved scheme into daily learning. Children were very excited to begin using the new books!
