Raising Expectations: -  Our School and Trust have high expectations of children, staff & our partner agencies.

Raising Aspirations: -  We encourage all children to become highly motivated individuals, challenging themselves to meet the high expectations and aspirations we set as a school.

Raising Confidence: -   Staff support children to develop high self-esteem, respecting themselves and others and taking responsibility for their actions, and the effect this has on other people, the school, the local community and the environment.

Rewarding Success: -   We recognise and reward success by children in class being nomitated to receive a Head Teacher award during a weekly assembly and our new initiative of 'Proud Thursday' awards, where each key stage nominates a child to receive a certificate or a postcard to celebrate an achievement.

Teaching and Learning: -  Our Teaching and Support Staff deliver consistently high quality lessons which enable our children to learn well.

Core Skills: - We encourage and develop independent learning, communication, literacy and numeracy skills across all subject areas.

Curriculum:- We provide a broad and balanced curriculum which is both creative and challenging. This can be personalised for each child to ensure their needs are met.

SMSC: - We strive to create a variety of opportunities, both in school and during educational visits to promote students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.

Community Cohesion: - We have strong links between school, home and the local community to strengthen and embed our children's learning.

By offering a high quality education through our formal curriculum we aim to raise standards of attainment, ensuring all children:

Develop their English and Mathematical skills as a firm basis for all other subjects and life-long learning.

Build on their social skills across their peer groups and adults alike to become a valued member of society.

Develop our children's personal and moral values, ensuring they are respectful of others, leading to their appreciation and toleration of other religions and other ways of life and they treat everyone as an equal irrespective of a person's gender, race, class or disability.

Ensure all children learn and staff work in a safe and secure environment, in keeping with Health and Safety Regulations.
